Terms of service

Written to be read. If a clause here ever contradicts something we say elsewhere, this document wins — so we've kept it short enough to check.

Version 1Last updated 15 August 2026First draft — not yet lawyer-reviewed
The short version— not a substitute for the full text below
Your content is yours. We get a licence to host and display it, nothing more.
0% fees, in writing. These terms say lnkrr takes no cut of what your fans pay you — on any plan.
Leave any time. Close your account yourself, in Settings — no email, no waiting on us.
Money flows via Stripe. We never hold your funds; disputes follow Stripe's rules.
Play fair. No scams, stolen content or illegal sales — we can suspend for those.
We give notice before material changes to these terms take effect, where we reasonably can.

A first draft, in plain terms

Written so lnkrr can launch with real policies in place — not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer, and not legal advice. It describes how the product works today and will be revised as proper legal review happens. Corrections: legal@lnkrr.me.

1

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using lnkrr, you agree to these terms. If you use lnkrr on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to accept them for it. If you don’t agree, don’t use lnkrr.

2

Your account

  • You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to hold a paid or payout-enabled account.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password and your email inbox secure — sign-in uses either, so access to your inbox is access to your account.
  • The information you give us (your name, page content, payout details) must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
  • One person or entity is responsible for each account. Don't impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are.
3

Acceptable use

You may not use lnkrr for anything prohibited by our Trust & Safety policy — which covers illegal content, fraud, content that harms others, and material involving minors, among others. In addition, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, infringe others' intellectual property, or sell what you don't have the right to sell.
  • Abuse the platform technically — attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or circumvent the rate limits and security of lnkrr.
  • Manipulate the referral programme (for example, referring yourself) or engage in payment fraud.
  • Post content you don't own or have permission to use on your page.

You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant lnkrr the licence it needs to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating your page and the service — nothing more.

4

Payments, fees, and payouts

0% platform fee. lnkrr takes no cut of what you earn from your fans — tips, product sales, bookings, and Circle memberships. Those payments run on Stripe, straight to your own connected Stripe account, and lnkrr never holds your money. Stripe’s own processing fees apply and are outside our control.

You are the merchant of record for sales on your page. That means the transaction is between you and your buyer: you’re responsible for delivering what you sell, for handling refunds and disputes, and for any tax you owe on your earnings. lnkrr provides the tools; it is not a party to those transactions.

lnkrr subscriptions. Pro ($9/month or $90/year) and Ultra ($19/month or $190/year) are our own paid plans, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable. We may change plan prices with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

Payouts land on your own Stripe schedule, and lnkrr's fee line on every sale reads $0.00.
5

Referral programme

If you refer another creator and they subscribe to a paid plan, you earn a 50% recurring commission on that subscription for as long as they keep paying. Here’s how it actually works today, stated plainly:

  • Commission is tracked to your account as it accrues from each paid invoice, and paid out once a month as a transfer into your connected Stripe account. It reaches your bank on your own Stripe payout schedule, in the same deposit as anything else you have earned.
  • You need a connected Stripe account to be paid. You do not need one to earn: until you connect one, commission stays recorded and owed to you indefinitely, and nothing expires.
  • Commission is subject to fraud review. Self-referrals are blocked, and referrals flagged for review may be held pending that review. A hold is decided when the commission is first recorded, not afterwards.
  • Commission that has been recorded stays recorded. If the payment behind it is later refunded or charged back, we do not reverse or claw back commission you have already earned — commission simply stops accruing when the creator you referred stops paying.
  • We may change or end the programme, or its rate, on a going-forward basis; existing tracked commission keeps the rate it was recorded at.
6

Suspension and termination

You can close your account yourself, at any time, from Settings. It asks for your password and for you to type your handle, then takes your page down and deletes your photos, links and connected accounts. Two things deliberately survive it: records of completed sales, which are your buyers’ receipts and our tax records, kept with your name removed; and your handle, which is held for 180 days rather than passed straight to someone else, so links your audience already has do not land on a stranger. If money is still owed to you or still settling, it says so and refuses rather than closing over the top of it.

We may also suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Trust & Safety policy — immediately where the breach is serious (content causing harm, fraud, or material involving minors), and after warning where the policy provides for it. When an account is closed, pending balances are settled where lawful. To report a page that breaks the rules, contact abuse@lnkrr.me.

The service is provided “as is”

We work to keep lnkrr running and secure, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every need. Third-party services we rely on (such as Stripe and our hosting and infrastructure providers) have their own terms and availability.

8

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, lnkrr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Because we never hold your money and you are the merchant of record for your sales, we are not responsible for disputes between you and your buyers or members.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for lnkrr subscriptions in the three months before the claim, or US$100. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9

Indemnity

You agree to cover lnkrr against claims arising from your content, your sales to your buyers, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the law or someone else’s rights.

10

Changes to these terms

This is v1 and will change as the product and its legal review do. We’ll update the date at the top when we revise these terms and give notice of material changes before they take effect where we reasonably can. Continuing to use lnkrr after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which lnkrr’s operating entity is established. The specific governing law and venue will be stated here once finalised as part of proper legal review — another reason to treat this version as a first draft rather than a settled contract.
